Echo PB-2100 Blower Parts and Fitment

Echo PB-2100 Blower Parts and Fitment product photo

The PB-2100 is Echo's smallest handheld blower, and it gets confused with two different things: the larger PB-250 handheld, and the SRM-2100 trimmer, which shares nothing with it but a number. None of that confusion is necessary once the actual parts are in front of you - one of which, oddly, is shared with Echo's most common trimmer.

Below are the genuine PB-2100 numbers, the blowers that share them, and the one filter that quietly turns up on both a trimmer and a blower.

That air filter number is not a coincidence of similar packaging - it is literally the same part Echo fits to a completely different machine. See below.

Why the PB-2100 is not the PB-250 or the PB-580

Echo's leaf blowers split into three engine families, not two. The handheld PB-250 / ES-250 and the backpack PB-580 are covered on the main blower parts page - neither shares a carburetor, filter or tube with the smaller PB-2100. The PB-2100 belongs to its own group alongside the ES-2100, ES-2000, ES-211, ES-2400 and the related PB-1000/PB-1010/PB-201 blowers, all built around the Zama C1U-K42 carburetor.

A filter or carburetor bought for a PB-250 will not seat on a PB-2100, even though both are small handheld blowers with a similar general shape. Match the part to the model number stamped on the fan housing, not the size of the machine.

One filter, two completely different machines

The PB-2100's air filter, 13031054130, is the same part number that cross-references to A226001410 - the filter used across Echo's SRM-225, PAS-225 and PE-225 trimmer family, already documented on the SRM-225 parts page. Echo reuses this filter across a 21.2 cc trimmer engine and a small blower engine because the housing dimensions match, not because the engines are related.

The PB-2100 is also easy to confuse with the SRM-2100, a trimmer with its own separate engine and parts list. The shared "2100" in the name is coincidental model numbering - nothing on this page fits an SRM-2100, and nothing on that trimmer's parts list fits this blower beyond the one filter above.

Fuel and the parts that fail first

The PB-2100 runs the same 50:1 Power Blend mix as the rest of Echo's two-stroke range - see Echo 2-stroke oil and the 50:1 mix. The fuel lines and primer bulb perish with age well before the carburetor fails, and the repower kit that fixes them (90097 / 90069) is the same one sold for the SRM-225 family.

If the blower won't hold power or won't start at all, work through fuel age, then the filter, then the fuel lines and primer bulb, then the carburetor - the same order that applies across Echo's handheld range, explained in full on the carburetor page.

Echo's backpack-class blower, the PB-580T, is a third family again - a 58.2 cc engine with its own carburetor and filter, covered on the PB-580T blower parts page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What carburetor fits the Echo PB-2100?

A Zama C1U-K42 (also sold as C1U-K42A or C1U-K42B) - the same carburetor across the PB-2100, ES-2100 and PB-2155 handheld blower group.

Is the PB-2100 air filter the same as the SRM-225 trimmer's?

Yes. Both use 13031054130, which cross-references to A226001410 - the filter shared across Echo's 225-engine trimmer family and several small blowers.

Is the Echo PB-2100 the same as the SRM-2100 trimmer?

No. The PB-2100 is a handheld blower; the SRM-2100 is a trimmer with its own engine group. The shared "2100" in the name is coincidental model numbering, not shared parts.

What ignition coil fits the PB-2100?

A411000020, replacing the earlier A411000021. It is shared across the ES-2000, ES-2100, ES-211, ES-2400, PB-1000, PB-1010, PB-201, PB-2455 and PB-2155 group.

What fuel mix does the PB-2100 take?

50:1 Power Blend, the same ratio as the rest of Echo's handheld two-stroke range.
